We're currently on the search for lead volunteers in the Meon Valley area.
The role of a District Commissioner is very rewarding, is an opportunity to develop yourself and others and meet young people whose lives have been positively changed by Scouts. District Commissioners or District Commissioner Teams inspire, encourage and work with volunteers to develop and implement our strategic vision, whilst motivating local Scout Groups to:
- Grow and deliver exciting and adventurous activities
- Increase access to the Scouts for those young people currently unable to join groups
This is a flexible role and is open to role share within a small team. The format of the team can be decided between its members with some guidance from Headquarters. These roles do not necessarily need to be filled by current adult volunteers.
