A Celeberation of Scouting

7th Bramshill (Hook) Scout Group
JOTI 2026 • Investiture Celebration
Following an invitation to every section to take part in JOTI 2026, 7th Bramshill (Hook) Scout Group came together for a particularly special occasion: welcoming new members and leaders through their investitures.
26 INVESTITURES
- Squirrels – 7
- Beavers – 9
- Cubs – 2
- Scouts – 6
- Leaders – 2
This is a fantastic achievement for the whole Group. We are delighted to have invested seven Squirrel Scouts, nine Beaver Scouts, two Cub Scouts, six Scouts and two leaders. Each investiture marks a promise made, a new chapter begun and another person joining the adventure of Scouting.
It was wonderful to see young people, families, volunteers and leaders together to celebrate. With all sections invited to participate in JOTI 2026, the occasion reflected the friendship, connection and shared opportunities that make Scouting so special.
Celebrating achievements
The day also gave us the opportunity to recognise the hard work and enthusiasm of our young people over the last term, with a number of badges awarded for the activities and achievements they have completed. Congratulations to everyone who received a badge — each one represents effort, learning and progress.
A special congratulations to Luke and Fraser, two of our Beaver Scouts, who were each presented with the Chief Scout’s Bronze Award. These two awards are a wonderful achievement and a proud moment for the boys, their families and the whole Group.
Caring for our Scout home
Alongside the celebrations, the day was also an opportunity to tackle some of our overgrown areas and help care for our Scout grounds. A particularly big thank you goes to Darren Perry for all his hard work clearing these areas and helping make our space better for everyone.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise the event, supported the young people, worked on the grounds, welcomed families and made the day possible. Congratulations to everyone invested and to all our badge recipients — we look forward to seeing what you achieve next!
