It’s a team and a community that thrive on creating opportunities for young people to be the best versions of themselves. #team6th are proud to be changing the lives of young people for the better and being presented with the King’s Award for Voluntary Service feels like the icing on the cake of over 20 years of hard work improving and developing the group into a community pillars. We are so proud of all our incredible volunteers.

6th Gosport (Rowner) Air Scout Group supports young people aged 4 to 18 across five sections. This is made possible by a dedicated and growing team of volunteers, currently made up of over 60 adults.

Young people at the group are always ready for adventure, with members recently returning from a camping trip at an international jamboree in Czechia, and plans are  underway for  a Summer Camp in Scotland, an expedition trip to Brownsea and a mini jamboree for the younger section, celebrating 40 years of Beavers and 5 years of Squirrels.
