On Sunday 29th of September a group of Bramshill Scouts, parents and leaders set out on a sponsored cycle ride in aid of Masindi water wells.

Rayner Mayer was the mastermind behind this year’s Tour de Hartley Wintney. All was arranged with precision, except the weather. There was no shortage of water in Hampshire that day! This heavens treated us to a fine mist graduating up to a full on pelt by the bucketload! Everyone managed a circuit round with a few crazy ones going on a second pedal of the route.

Tea, coffee, squash and pastries waited for us at the half way point courtesy of Mike and Anne (6th Bramshill) and burgers were laid on at 4th Bramshill’s HQ at the end.

We are all looking forward to this happening again next year.
