As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life.

We encourage young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, we help over 460,000 young people aged 6-25 enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed, now and in the future.

We’re talking about teamwork, leadership and resilience – skills that have helped Scouts become everything from teachers and social workers to astronauts and Olympians. We help young people develop and improve key life skills.

We believe in bringing people together. We celebrate diversity and stand against intolerance, always. We’re part of a worldwide movement, creating stronger communities and inspiring positive futures.

The youngest members of the Scouting family, Beavers try new things and make new friends in a safe and supportive environment.

From trying new food to experiencing their first night away, Cubs is all about discovering who you are and what you enjoy doing.

Preparing young people for the future, Scouts get to take part in a wide range of activities designed to challenge them and give them the skills to succeed.

From important exams to taking their first steps into adulthood, Explorers will find a supportive environment where they can continue to grow as people and try new things.

Turning 18 doesn't mean the fun has to stop. Scout Network gives you the chance to take part in unbelievable activities and make new friends - all while boosting your CV.

Every year hundreds of Hampshire Scouts experience international travel. From France to Tanzania and Japan to the South Pole, our members have visited every continent and travelled millions of miles to gain Skills for Life in nearly every country in the world.

Our volunteers support thousands of young people across Hampshire to try new things, meet new people, and gain Skills for Life.
