At Hampshire Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life.
Every day of every week you can find us playing our part, broadening our horizons and getting stuck into the great outdoors. We have more than 15,600 adult volunteers and young people between 6 and 25 years of age enjoying fun and adventure while learning the skills they need for whatever life throws at them.
You’ll find us in every community across Hampshire. From trekking in the New Forest National Park to kayaking in Portsmouth Harbour or flying high in Farnborough. We get up to lots of activities right on your doorstep. You’re probably not too far away from a group right now.
This only happens thanks to hundreds of volunteer leaders, trustees and managers who make it all happen. We’ve been doing this for over 110 years now so we have a wealth of experience at our fingertips.
We’re just a small part of a worldwide movement of around 50 million scouts in nearly every country of the world.
And trust us we know because our Scouts have been all over and met Scouts along the way. Scouts from Hampshire has skied to the South Pole and stood on the highest summits on all seven continents.
Our Scouts have broken world records and reached new heights, but they are also the pillars of our community and make the biggest difference to where they live.
We bring people together from all walks of life. We celebrate diversity and welcome Scouts from every community, every background, every belief and of every colour.
We’re guided by our values of integrity, respect, care for all things, co-operation and exploring our beliefs and attitudes.
